BLOOM — A [Post]Natural Trilogy
2025
Bloom is a visual research project exploring the shifting relationship between body, nature and artifice in the context of ecological transformation.
Through photography, performance and sculptural masks, the work constructs a hybrid imaginary where bodies and landscapes become spaces of mutation, vulnerability and resistance. The masks, created by artist Aloma Lafontana, operate as thresholds between human and non-human, organic and artificial forms.
Structured in three chapters — Germina, Asphyxia and Spectra — the project moves from emergence to saturation and, finally, to a speculative post-natural landscape.
I — GERMINA
II — ASPHYXIA
III — SPECTRA
